Champions Machine Tool Sales, Inc. Celebrates its 30th Year
Champions Machine Tool Sales, Inc celebrated the company's 30th anniversary in 2011. The company was incorporated in the state of Texas in January 1981, and in 1997 was appointed the Haas Factory Outlet (HFO) for South and Central Texas. Haas Automation recognized Champions as 'HFO of the Year' in 2000 and 2003. Champions' HFO has recently expanded and remodeled a building to serve as the company's Haas Training and Service Center. Champions HFO stocks over $2 million in parts for servicing Haas customers. Since 1997 the company has sold approximately 3,000 new Haas CNC machine tools.

Introducing the DT-1 Drill/Tap Center
The DT-1 is a compact, high-speed drill and tap machine with full milling capabilities. The machine has a 20" x 16" x 15.5" (xyz) work cube and a 26" x 15" T-slot table. A powerful BT30 taper inline direct-drive spindle provides 15,000 rpm, and allows rigid tapping at speeds to 5000 rpm. A high-speed, 20-pocket tool changer swaps tools quickly, while rapids of 2400 ipm on all axes, combined with 1G acceleration/deceleration rates, shorten cycle times and reduce non-cutting time.

These newly designed turning centers were designed from the ground up to be extremely rigid, highly accurate, and thermally stable. Standard equipment includes rigid tapping, a 15" color LCD monitor and USB port. Other available equipment includes a belt type chip conveyor, big bore, gearbox, automatic tool presetter and much more.
